We now have available a new ground breaking Sky Lantern that uses no metal parts at all. Instead of the metal used in the old lanterns to hold the wick in place, these lanterns have Dragon Wool, which is flame retardant and completely harmless if ingested by animals. Whilst all lanterns are biodegradable, the metal used in most lanterns will of course take much much longer to biodegrade than the wool used in these lanterns that is much safer to the environment.
They also have a new 'attached' fuel cell. This simplifies lighting and reduces the time from lighting to flight. This design element combined with the flame retardant paper makes these Eco Lanterns the safest Sky Lanterns available.
Eco Sky Lanterns are very compact further reducing packaging weight, size and ultimately waste.
Each eco lantern is approximately 75cm high. |
